Modern technology has improved the quality of life for many people. A good example is “liquid Plumber”, which we all know. There is no specific plumbing liquid by that name. The fluids are not always up to the task. Plumbing is a very demanding profession. You will see everything from broken pipes to clogs. What we find most horrifying is the damage caused by people who use same day plumber in an incorrect way. To save both you and ourselves thousands of dollars, we’ve put together a simple guide that explains when and how to do so.
The liquid plumbers do not remove clogs, as is commonly believed. Only certain types of clogs will be removed. The majority of clogs come from grime. At least, we plumbers do. Hair and grease are the main culprits of your basic grimy blockage. For these situations, liquid plumbers can be used. They simply break down any nasty material and flush through the system. They are easy to spot because the clogs appear gradually. The clogs will gradually increase over time. Liquid plumbers are dangerous when you experience a sudden stoppage of your drain.
It is usually a foreign material that causes these mega-clogs. This could also include tree roots, damage to pipes or large objects which are not easily broken down. Even though they are powerful, those corrosive chemicals in the bottle can’t cut through most things. It is possible to cause severe damage to pipes if you use liquid plumber to clear a blockage. When the plumber is allowed to sit inside your pipes it will begin to corrode them, reducing their life expectancy (especially when they contain rubber components). Additionally, your weak pipes may cause leaks. And you don’t want to let that mess into your house. When your sink becomes clogged, be sure to use the correct solution.
Clogs on Toilets
Everyone dislikes it (we think). Sometimes, however, this is necessary. However, it is not a good idea to try and pour liquid plumber through your toilet. Simply put, this does not work. Two reasons make this a bad idea. This will make your already disgusting toilet water more horrifying. The only other reason is because flushing would be the only option to remove it. The worst case scenario is that you’ll end up with toxic septic fluid on your flooring. Don’t forget to familiarize yourself well with your plunger. This will prove invaluable in the most desperate situations.
